Yes, you can use white chocolate or milk chocolate. I use almond bark for these cracker sandwiches but feel free to use chocolate chips with a teaspoon of shortening stirred in or candy melts.
Can I Melt Chocolate Without A Double Boiler?
Absolutely. I melted my almond bark in the microwave just heating in 20-30 second increments stirring in between. But you can also use your Instant Pot as a double boiler as well!
How To Store Chocolate Dipped Ritz Cookies
You can store these cookies at room temperature for up to a week or two. You will want to store them in an airtight container on the counter. Then when you notice them begin to go stale toss them out.
Variations To Dipped Ritz Crackers
- Use white chocolate

- Add in nut butter instead of peanut butter

Fluffernut Chocolate Covered Ritz A Ritz Cracker Recipe
Ingredients
- 48 Ritz Crackers
- 1/3 cup Marshmallow Fluff
- 1/3 cup Peanut Butter
- Chocolate or White Almond Bark
Instructions
- You will take a bit of marshmallow fluff and spread onto one side of the Ritz cracker. On the other cracker do peanut butter, and then sandwich them together.
- Repeat till all your crackers are complete. Then melt your almond bark in the microwave in 30-second increments stirring in between.
- Dip cookies in chocolate, cover and shake off excess.
- Lay on parchment or wax paper and let dry.
