Waddle waddle, wiggle wiggle, hop on board and make these delicious and adorable penguin brownies. You have a homemade brownie that is cut out to look like a penguin. This penguin treat will put a smile on your child’s face and make them feel extra special this holiday season. These penguin shaped brownies are great any time of year, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Birthday parties, etc.
Kid’s love foods that look fun and these penguin dessert treats are just that. I made these a while back and my little guy loved it. He is a HUGE animal lover, I mean we did have a “badger” themed 3rd birthday party for him. I think he is debating skunks or dinosaurs for his next party. Momma is kind of rooting for dinosaurs, ha!

Now, if you are not a fan of baking, maybe reach for a family size boxed brownie mix. You will get the same outcome and able to cut down on baking. I don’t mind making homemade brownies. I find the recipe is easy to do, but at times I might reach for boxed if I am short on time.
You could even let your kiddos toss on an apron, and let them help mix up, and decorate these adorable penguin treats. I let my little guy help decorate and he just loves it. He even sneaks a few toppings and giggles. It is a great way to help make lasting memories. I have always loved spending time in the kitchen and want him to enjoy it as he grows.
Who Cooking With Kids Is Important
Knowing how to get around in the kitchen is a must-have life skill for later in life. Plus spending time learning how to cook with your kids is a great way to help teach them how to follow directions, basic math skills, and so much more. Clay is just 3 and I feel it is important to allow him to help when he wants.
Clay loves to help stir the batter (spilling some here and there) dumping ingredients in, and just helping me bake or cook dinner. Give them age-appropriate skills to help them feel a part of the process and learn as they go. Even if you have a boy or a girl, they still should have basic kitchen skills for when they leave home later in life.
