Ingredients for Yogurt Bark
Yogurt – Reach for any flavor of yogurt you want. I used a plain Greek yogurt to add in extra protein. Learn how to make Greek yogurt.
Syrup or Honey – Either maple syrup or honey will be used to stir in and add sweetness to you yogurt without overpowering it.
Fruit – I did a mix of fresh blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Any fruit you like will work.
How to Make
Step 1: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Set aside.
Step 2: In a bowl mix your yogurt and maple syrup together and stir well. Pour mixture on the baking sheet. Spread mixture out to evenly spread it.
Step 3: Now you will add your toppings of choice. Just prep and slice strawberries and sprinkle on top of yogurt.
Step 4: Place the tray in the freezer and allow it to fully harden. Then with a sharp knife cut it up.

Here are a few different ways you can make this frozen yogurt berry bark transform to a whole new Greek yogurt snack!

How to Make Homemade Yogurt
If you own an Instant Pot you can make your own yogurt. Learn how to make Greek yogurt like I did. I used my homemade plain Greek yogurt for this Greek yogurt dessert.
Now if you don’t want to make your own, buy whatever brand you want. Then make it how you would like. I love it as a protein yogurt bark so I don’t feel guilty snacking.
Storage
This frozen yogurt needs to stay in the freezer or it will begin to melt. Just store in an airtight container and keep in the freezer.
I find that keeping it pushed back on the shelf helps ensure it stays nice and frozen.
Expert Tips and Variations
- Use any style of yogurt you want in terms of flavor. I find whipped yogurts don’t freeze up great.
- If you use a flavored yogurt you can leave out the maple syrup if you would like.
- Make your bark as thick or thin as you would like.
- Once the bark is fully frozen cut it up and place in an airtight container.

Depending on the thickness it can freeze in around 2 hours or longer. If the yogurt is pretty thick aim for around 6 hours or so. My yogurt bark was frozen around the 3-4 hour mark.
Greek yogurt adds protein to this recipe. If you want you can add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to stir in to make protein frozen yogurt bark!
The one thing to know is freezing yogurt can alter the texture of the yogurt. I recommend using frozen yogurt as a bark like this or mixing in smoothies.
I would not freeze a container and then expect to dish it up and eat like classic yogurt.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Greek plain yogurt or classic yogurt
- 2- 2 1/2 tablespoons Maple Syrup sweeten to your preference
- 1/2 cup berries I did raspberries, strawberries, blueberries
Instructions
- Line your baking sheet with aluminum foil. Then set aside.
- In a bowl you are going to add your yogurt, then add in the maple syrup.
- Mix well until combined, and pour out onto the baking sheet in an even layer.
- Wash and dice up the strawberries. Then sprinkle the fruit all over the yogurt bark.
- If you want add more toppings. Then freeze for 3-4 hours or until the yogurt is fully frozen.
- Slice up the frozen yogurt bark into squares or break it apart. Then store in an airtight freezer container for 1-3 months.
