Here are a few changes you can make to these easy Halloween treats!
- The coconut oil added into the chocolate offers a creamier chocolate. You do not have to add the oil, but it is going to give you a velvety chocolate.
- If you don’t want to use coconut oil, you can swap with vegetable oil.
- I used store bought rice krispies treats, but make your favorite version and cut into rectangles.
- Change up how you decorate these Halloween Rice Krispie treats. Use purple colored chocolate, add some crazy hair and googly eyes, etc.
FAQs
To dip this treat in the chocolate, hold on to the edges and dip into a bowl. Coat some of your sides of the treat as well. Then carefully flip it over, and let it set up and harden.
Adding food coloring to white chocolate when you melt it can cause it to seize up and ruin the chocolate. I recommend for a dessert like this, you buy candy melts.
Go right ahead and make these up the night before you need them. Just keep them in an airtight container so they don’t dry out. Then serve and enjoy.
