🌶️ Optional Filling Ideas

Meats | Go wild and add in other meats besides ham, or swap it out altogether. Pepperoni, dried beef, salami, and deli turkey would all be pretty tasty options.

Just dice up whichever meat you choose before adding it to the dip. Transforming to a dried beef dip would be delicious.

Vegetables | Chopped bell peppers, black olives, minced garlic, celery, and pimentos are great additions.

It’s a good idea to make sure whatever you add in is bite-sized or smaller, so it’s easier to eat.

Cheese | Add some fun flavor and extra flair by mixing in some shredded cheese. Any variety would work well, and it’s a unique spin that happens to taste great too.

Cheddar, Colby Jack, or Pepper Jack would all add some incredible flavor. I recommend adding 1/4 – 1/2 cup.

Herbs | Fresh herbs are a lovely way to change the way the dip tastes and give it a bit of added color. Chopped dill, parsley, or oregano would be fantastic choices.

Dill Pickle Dip

Dill Pickle Dip is a 5 ingredient dip that uses cream cheese, pickles, and ham to be the stand out flavors. Similar to a pickle wrap recipe you enjoy at the holidays. Give this cream cheese pickle dip a try.

  • 16 ounces (2 packages) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup deli ham, chopped or use dried beef
  • 3 tablespoons dry ranch powder mix
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 green onion, diced

  1. Take your softened cream cheese and add it to a bowl. Toss in your diced meat, dry ranch, chopped pickles, and green onions.
  2. Use a spatula and stir well until the mixture is fully mixed.
  3. Top with extra pickles, meat, etc. Then refrigerate the pickle dip till you are ready to serve.

Make sure to drain the juice off of the pickles.

You can swap with sweet pickles if you want or even bread and butter pickles.

Dried beef, salami, pepperoni are all great meats to consider swapping the ham.

Make sure the cream cheese is softened or it will not mix well.

You can leave out the ranch if you would like. Make sure it is powder ranch not liquid.

Double the recipe if you would like.
