Sometimes I love to cut corners to shave off some time when it comes to our meals. I wanted to have some fresh and hot rolls but I didn’t have the time to make homemade rolls. I saw a can of biscuits in the fridge and got to work. I had seen a Tasty video like a year ago that showed how they diced up canned biscuits and transformed them! I thought this is something I totally could do! So I grabbed my supplies and got to work.

My husband loved how the edges got nice and golden as it baked. It added a slight crunch to the sides and flavor. The butter really helps give these pull apart cheese rolls their golden color. You could barely tell they were canned biscuits! Which, I am not against canned biscuits but they are not my go-to item. I prefer homemade when I can.

This recipe makes 12 biscuits, and it was just one can of Grands biscuits. This is a good gauge to know if you will need to double the recipe or not. If you do that is totally fine, it will double good just grab another cupcake pan and get to baking!

Kids love them because they can peel it to eat the different layers, which adds a fun aspect to these pull apart garlic rolls! I have made them without the garlic, and I found they were not as good, but you are welcome to opt out the garlic if you want. I would almost suggest using sharp cheddar cheese added in with the mozzarella for a little added flavor.
