Storing Cookies
Refrigerate – I prefer to store these cookies in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. I find these cookies store best in the fridge due to the frosting.
Freezing – You can also freeze your cereal cookies in a single layer of cookies. Use wax paper between each layer to prevent the cookies from sticking together.
Helpful Tips
Here are some tips for success when making this fruity pebbles recipe!
- Don’t skip out the cornstarch, as it will really add a totally different texture to the cookies.
- Cream butter and sugar for the 4-5 minutes. This will make the dough nice and fluffy. If you don’t cream it long enough.
- Do not overmix the batter or it will cause your cookies to harden up and become dense.
- I do recommend using a mixer, that way you ensure the cookie dough is mixed well.
