  • Affordable seafood recipe.

🍝 Main Ingredients

  • Shrimp – I used pre-cooked shrimp that I did a cold marinade with to help add tons of flavor to.
  • Linguine – Feel free to reach for a spaghetti noodle or any other style of pasta if you don’t have linguine.
  • Marinate – Red pepper flakes, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and garlic. This is a super simple marinade.

Tips for Working with Citrus

I do recommend buying a zester and citrus squeezer if you juice and zest fruit on occasion. It makes it so much easier, I can’t believe I went so many years without one!

Always make sure when you zest only zest the colored part of a lemon or lime. When you get to the white flesh, it will turn to a bitter taste on the citrus.

If you prefer not to use whine, reach for a white grape juice. Add a dash of lemon juice with it to pack on more of a punch in flavor, and it will work pretty similar to the white wine. It has to be white grape juice, not regular.
