Ingredients
Granulated Sugar – The sweetener in the recipe is white sugar. You allow it to dissolve on the stove so there is no crunchy texture from the sugar.
Butter – Reach for real unsalted butter. You will find that margarine will give it an oily texture.
Milk – Whole milk is going to enhance the richness of the cookies.
Peanut Butter – Creamy peanut butter is what I used, but you can use crunchy peanut butter if you want. I find that natural peanut butter is too oily and it can affect the texture.
Oats – I recommend using quick-cooking oats. You can use old fashioned oats but it will have a lot more of a chewy texture if you do so.
