Ingredients

  • 4-5 Ripe Avocadoes
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Lime Juice as desired
  • 1 Jalapeno diced (deseeded if desired to make mild)
  • 1/2 Small Red Onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro rinsed and finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • The first step is to slice avocados in half and then remove the pits. Then place the avocado in bowl.
  • With a fork or masher toss in the lime juice and mash up your avocado. You can make your avocado chunky or creamy, per your preference.
  • Next you will add in the diced onions, jalapeno, garlic, and cilantro.
  • Mix well until incorporated.
  • Then season your homemade guacamole with salt and serve!

Notes

Tomatoes - You can dice up 1-2 tomatoes and mix in as well. De-seed tomatoes so it doesn't water down your guacamole.
Hot or Mild - De-seed and remove white membrane from jalapenos to make mild. Rinse in cold water to remove excess oil. Then if you want hot leave some or all the jalapeno seeds.
Stores - The guacamole can store for up to three days in the fridge. It is not recommended to freeze as it will change the texture and flavor.
Ingredients - Make sure to chop your onion and cilantro finely, so that it blends nicely without overpowering your guac.
Use as a dip, or pair with your favorite Mexican dish, or topping. This is so easy to make, and loaded with fresh flavor in each bite.
Use fresh veggies like celery or carrots for a healthy dipping, or do tortilla chips for a satisfying crunch.
