Start by adding your coconut and the green food coloring in a bowl. Mix until it is fully colored, this takes a bit of time. Add as little or as much green as you want.
Stick all your marshmallows on sticks and set on a wax paper or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Then in a bowl add your chocolate almond bark, and mix for 20-30 second intervals stirring between each cycle. Mix until fully melted.
Dip each marshmallow stick in the chocolate coating all the way to the stick. Shake off excess chocolate.
Once chocolate has dripped off, you will then lightly dip in the green coconut to get it covering the bottom and slightly up the sides. Place on parchment paper to dry.
Repeat until all the marshmallows are dipped.
Then melt your white chocolate and pipe on a long line in the center of the marshmallow. Then do 2-4 lines horizontally, to look like a football lace.
Once the football marshmallow pops are set up, place in an airtight container or container.
Notes
Almond Bark - You can use any style of chocolate. You need to temper the chocolate if not almond bark or candy melts. Or add in a teaspoon of shortening to help the chocolate set up nice and hard. Candy Melts - You can use any color of candy melts you want. I find that brown and white are a classic football look. But do your favorite team colors if you want to make them stand out. Coconut - Sweetened coconut or unsweetened flakes work. I personally prefer sweetened as it adds the right amount of sweet to the marshmallow pops. Freezing - You can freeze these marshmallow pops. Place in a proper container and freeze 3-4 months, then thaw on the counter. Serving - Make as few or as many as you would like of this football dessert. We did quite a few but you can make less or more if needed.
