Equipment

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 10 ounce can of cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Pour your hashbrowns into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl add the sour cream, soup, shredded cheese and spices. Mix well.
  • Stir in the mixture to the hashbrowns. Then cover and cook on high for 1 hour.
  • Remove lid and stir well at the 1 hour mark. Then cover again and cook another 2-3 hours.
  • Once done serve and enjoy.

Notes

Hashbrowns - You can use frozen hashbrowns, or cubed hashbrowns. They can be frozen still, you don't have to thaw first.
Soup - I used cheddar cheese soup but you can swap with a crema of mushroom or celery soup if you want.
Cheese - Any variety of cheese you enjoy works. Cheddar or sharp cheddar works best.
