Fruity Pebbles Cookies that are frosted with a cereal milk frosting and topped with Fruity Pebbles cereal. These are a Crumbl cookie recipe. These cereal cookies are always a hit.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then line your baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a bowl you will add your softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar and whip for 5 minutes. You want it to lighten up and fluff up. I did a medium speed.
Next add in the eggs and vanilla.
Then work in the dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.
Then use a 3 tablespoon scoop form the dough and roll into balls. Place 7 on a baking sheet, the cookies will spread as it bakes. You will press the cookies down a bit with your fingers.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and cooked through. Once the cookies are done, you will let them set on the cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a cooling rack.
To make the cereal you will add your milk and cereal into a bowl and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then strain off the cereal and discard the cereal.
Once the cookies are cooled you can frost them. To make the frosting add butter into a mixer, and whip until smooth.
Add in the powdered sugar, and vanilla, along with 1 tablespoon of milk.
If your frosting is too thick, then add more of the cereal milk, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Frost cookies and then top with Fruity Pebbles and devour!
Notes
Cereal - These cereal milk cookies can be made with any flavor of cereal. Feel free to change it up if you would like. Store - With the cereal milk frosting I like to refrigerate the cookies. They can be stored at room temperature but they will spoil quicker.
