Wreath Sugar Cookies Recipe

Festive Christmas wreath sugar cookies are a must. A frosted sugar cookie topped with a licorice bow, and candies to look like a wreath. These are a festive holiday cookie.

Equipment

  • Cookie Sheet Pan

Ingredients

  • 1 package sugar cookie dough
  • 1 container white frosting
  • 1 bag holiday M&M's I used all green M&M's
  • 3 Pull and Peel Twizzlers

Instructions

  • Start by baking your cookies as directed on the package of the sugar cookie dough.
  • Let the cookies cool completely.
  • While the cookies are cooling, you will separate the Twizzlers and begin then tie each in a bow. Then set them aside.
  • So frost the cookies with the vanilla frosting.
  • Now you will take your M&M's and place around the cookies, in a circle shape. Leave a space at the top to place the Twizzler on top of the cookie.
  • Then serve up your cookies or store in a container at room temperature.

Notes

Cookies - I used raw cookie dough that I used for making the cookies. You are welcome to make homemade cookies if you want. You can also use other types of cookies like peanut butter, chocolate chip, etc. 
Decorating - You can decorate your cookies anyway you would like. Feel free to try out sprinkles, colored frosting, etc.
