Grilled Huli Huli Chicken is such an easy and delicious grilled chicken recipe. This Hawaiian chicken is so easy and offers sweet and savory. I made this chicken in my Ninja Foodi Grill. Feel free to use your pellet grill, propane, or any other indoor grill. Simple homemade Huli Huli marinade that will bring optimal flavor to your chicken.
In a bowl, you will want to add your ketchup, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar. Mix well and slowly add in the chicken stock. You want it to thin up the marinade a bit to make it easier to cover the chicken.
In a container or bag add your chicken legs and pour 1/2 of the marinade sauce all over the chicken. Cover and let marinate at least 2 hours to overnight.
You will store the other 1/2 of the marinade in another container as you will use that to baste the chicken as it cooks.
Once the chicken is marinated, preheat your Ninja Foodi Grill or another grill to high heat. When it is hot toss your chicken legs on, leaving space between each.
Cook 4-6 minutes on each side, basting with the remaining marinade. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees internal temperature.
Remove the Huli Huli chicken from the grill, let rest 5 minutes then serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
