Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate flavored almond bark 24 ounces
  • 1/4 cup white almond bark
  • 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1-3 drops of green food coloring
  • Sprinkles - optional
  • 12-15 Small Pretzel sticks

Instructions

  • In a small bowl add your coconut and food coloring. Mix well to make the coconut turn green. If need add more food coloring. Set aside.
  • Melt your brown chocolate flavored almond bark in the microwave with heat cycles of 20-30 seconds. Stir between each cycle.
  • Once done pour the chocolate on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Spread it out evenly to a layer.
  • Now break your small pretzel sticks to make football posts. Do two smaller pretzels on the side, with one on bottom connecting the two sticks. Then place a longer stick in center to make a "Y" shaped style post.
  • Next take the green coconut and sprinkle areas with the green coconut to mimic grass.
  • Then sprinkle on the sprinkles to look like a crowd. I put the chocolate around each field goal post.
  • Then heat up white almond bark and pipe a straight line with 2-3 short lines going the other way to make it look like football lace.
  • Let the football chocolate bark set up, then break or cut apart, and enjoy.
  • Enjoy and serve! if you have extra store in a bag or airtight container.

Notes

Chocolate - You can use candy melts if you want or even baking chocolate. You just need to temper the chocolate or add in a teaspoon of shortening to the chocolate.
Coconut - For the grass I used a sweetened coconut, you are welcome to use unsweetened if you prefer.
Pretzel Sticks - Pretzel sticks are what I used to make the field goals. Feel free to use other style of straight line cookies or chips if you prefer. We love the salty component it adds.
