Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon dried basil
  • 1/2 Tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 Tablespoon black pepper crushed
  • 1/2 Tablespoon white pepper
  • 1/2 Tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons paprika
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons salt

Instructions

  • Add all the spices into a bowl.
  • Mix well, and then place the creole seasoning into an airtight container or sealable bag.
  • Then use this creole seasoning for any recipe that calls for creole or Cajun spice blend.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to preserve the spice blend.
You can alter the spices used to adjust the flavor.
Use less cayenne for a milder flavor, or add more to make a spicy creole seasoning.
