Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour needs to be heated to 160 degrees
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate or white almond bark
  • 1 can of Eagle-Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 package of Carrot cake Oreos - Can Use golden Oreos
  • 2 drops orange food coloring

Instructions

  • Start by lining your 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Then add a little cooking spray to prevent any sticking.
  • In a bowl, place your flour in a microwave-safe bowl, and cook for 1 minute on high in the microwave. It needs to heat to 160 degrees to kill off bacteria so safe to eat.
  • In a bowl melt your butter until it is soft. Then add in the vanilla and stir. Add in the sugar and flour and mix until combined. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk.
  • Now melt your chocolate chips in the microwave, and then pour into the rest of the ingredients.
  • Once mixed, split your fudge batter into two bowls. Then to one bowl add a couple drops of orange food coloring.
  • Pour the orange into the baking dish. Then lay a layer of Oreos on top. Then top with the white layer of the fudge.
  • Add crumbled Oreos on top, and press gently into the fudge.
  • Cover and let firm up in the fridge for a few hours. Then cut the carrot cake fudge, and serve.

Notes

To make fudge without Oreos: You can skip the Carrot Cake Oreos. If you do, mix 2 tablespoons carrot baby food, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg in replace.
The flour needs to reach 160 degrees to remove the bacteria off the flour. Or you can bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes. You can use a meat thermometer to check the temperature.
For a thick fudge do 8x8 and for a thinner fudge do a 9x9 pan.
Store your fudge in the refrigerator, or you can opt to freeze your fudge for up to three months if you want. The Oreos will soften a bit but still taste great.
Swap out with Golden Oreos if you can't find Carrot Cake Oreos.
