Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Grease the baking dish with cooking spray and set it aside.
In a large bowl you will add the sour cream and Bisquick. Mix to combine.
Then slowly work in the lemon lime soda, creating a dough.
Melt the butter in the microwave. Then pour 1/3 cup of butter to the bottom of the pan.
Scoop the biscuit dough over the buttered pan, and spread the batter to all sides of the baking dish.
Use a knife and slice the biscuit dough into 12 squares.
Then drizzle with butter.
Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown on top or until it is baked through.
Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes or so. Then serve and enjoy.
Notes
Greek Yogurt - You can use a Greek yogurt that is plain in flavor in swap of sour cream. Shortening - Swap the butter with shortening if you want. I find the butter is going to give more flavor to the biscuits. Dough - If you find your dough is too wet you can add a bit more Bisquick to the dough.
