Mouth watering and delicious tender slow cooker pulled pork is one of my favorite ways to cook up a pork roast. Give this slow cooker recipe a try for an easy weeknight or weekend dinner for the family.
– Butt Roast – Blackening Seasoning – Apple Cider Vinegar – Chipotle with Adobo Sauce – Barbecue Sauce
Take your pork roast and place it on a cutting board. You will then sprinkle the blackened seasoning on all sides of the Boston butt roast.
In a small bowl, add the chipotle adobo sauce and the apple cider vinegar. Mix well, and then you will baste this over the whole pork roast.
Place the roast in the slow cooker with the sliced onions. Cook on low for 6–8 hours. You will want to make sure the pork reaches 185 to 195 degrees Fahrenheit at its internal temperature.
Allow your pork to rest for 20 minutes on the cutting board. Then you will pull the pork to shred it. Then stir in the barbecue sauce.
Pork – You can use any cut of pork roast that you would like. If you use a bone-in pork roast, add additional time for the meat to fully cook.
