Cheesy Garlic Bread

Cheesy Garlic Bread is a delicious and easy garlic bread that is made with French bread. A homemade garlic butter spread that is loaded with garlic flavor in each bite.

  • 1 loaf day-old French bread
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter , softened
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
  • ½ cup finely shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella optional


  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • With a serrated knife slice your French bread in half lengthwise and then place the cut side up.
  • In a food processor add your garlic, softened butter, oil, salt, pepper and parsley. Pulse to combine till creamy.
  • Spread the garlic bread on both sides of the bread. You can do as little or as much as you would like. I do a thicker flavor but we love garlic.
  • Then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Slice, serve and enjoy this cheesy garlic bread warm.


Air Fryer Directions - Preheat air fryer to 350 and then place your bread in the air fryer and cook for 5-8 minutes or until cheese is fully melted.
Cheese - I used mozzarella and parmesan but you can use just mozzarella, marble cheese, etc.
Garlic Bread - Leave off the cheese for a classic garlic bread.
