Check out these adorable and easy turkey donuts! These mini donuts are the perfect Thanksgiving donuts! A pumpkin spice donut with fruit loop feathers and candy eyes. A fun Thanksgiving breakfast idea that takes minutes to assemble.
Start by sitting donuts in a single layer. Make as many of these turkey donuts as you want.
Next, grab a toothpick and add 4-5 Fruit Loops on the toothpick.
Stick toothpick on the back side on top of the donut. I did 4 toothpicks per donut.
Then press your candy eyes in the front. Use a little pressure to ensure they stay.
Break a Fruit Loop in half and use a piece for beak. Press firmly as well.
Then serve up the mini turkey donuts for breakfast or a snack.
Make as many turkey donuts as you would like. Only do 1 or do 10, the choice is yours.

Notes
Donuts - Any flavor of donuts works. I used a pumpkin spice donut. Feel free to do homemade donuts if you prefer store bought. Full size donuts - If you do full size donuts just add more lines of cereal for the feathers to fill out the back of the donut. Frosting or Corn Syrup - You can secure the eyes and beak on by a little frosting or dab of corn syrup if you are afraid of them falling off. Turkey Feathers - Any type of "0" shaped cereal will work. Have fun and get creative. You can even change up the items for eyes and beak. Storing Donuts - If you want to make these ahead of time, go right ahead. Then store in an airtight container on the counter. I don't recommend making more than 24 hours in advance. The donuts will dry out pretty fast.
