Oreo Dessert is a Oreo pudding dessert with a crunchy Oreo cookie crust and Oreo topping. Give this Oreo recipe a try for a simple no bake recipe for you and your family.
Crush all the Oreo cookies up. I placed cookies in a gallon sealed bag, and used a rolling pin to crush the cookies.
Place all but about 1/2 cup cookies in the bottom of the 9x13 baking dish. Reserve the rest of the cookies for topping.
Melt the butter and evenly pour over the cookies. Then set aside.
In a large bowl add your milk and pudding and mix for 2-3 minutes until the pudding is thickened.
Then add in the cream cheese and the sugar (which is optional). If you like sweeter desserts add the sugar, otherwise leave it out.
Once well mixed fold in the Cool Whip with a spatula until well mixed. Then pour the mixture on top of the Oreo cookie crust.
Top with Oreo cookies and then cover and refrigerate for 4 hour or until set.
Once done, dish up this decadent Oreo cookie pudding dessert.
Notes
Cookies - You can use any type of Oreo cookies or sandwich cookies. Sugar - The sugar is optional. I like having a little sugar to sweeten up the dessert, but this is for sure optional. Set up Dessert - Make sure you set up the dessert in the fridge for 4-6 hours. It is a creamy pudding dessert so it can fall apart easily. Make Ahead - If you want to make ahead, leave off the cookies on top until right before you are serving up this dessert.
