Fudge is an all-time favorite of mine, my dad probably made the best chocolate and peanut butter fudge I have ever had.
I wanted to be able to sit down and create a layered chocolate peanut butter fudge that would marry the two flavors. Some might call this a buckeye fudge recipe.
Either way, you call it, you will love the flavors. Another fun fudge to check out is this Disney’s white chocolate fudge, it is blue and kids go crazy over it.

Microwavable Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge
The peanut butter layer is so smooth and creamy, and then you add your milk chocolate top layer of fudge, and it is the perfect sweetness to the two. The process for my layered fudge is so easy, even those who aren’t considered the best cooks will have success with this recipe!
How Do You Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge In The Microwave
Easy! I do this in stages. The first stage is melting down the peanut butter and butter, until it is nice and creamy. Then I add in the vanilla and powdered sugar to create the peanut butter layer. Then in a new microwave safe bowl, I do the chocolate chips and butter. Get it melted, and then stir in the condensed milk!
I microwave in 10-20 second increments to ensure I don’t over-heat the ingredients. If you do so you will burn the chocolate, and let me say, not fun and it stinks.
How Do You Make Fudge With Condensed Milk and Chocolate Chips
Now you could make just the chocolate layer of this fudge. Just condensed milk, chocolate chips, and two tablespoons of butter are all you need.
It creates one of the creamiest fudge textures I have ever had, and it is a breeze to whip up.
Should I Put Fudge In The Fridge
To get this fudge to set up, I always put in the fridge for 2-3 hours. But, if you are in no rush you can leave at room temperature.
A lot of people prefer the texture of cold fudge, but it is all preference. Just make sure to store your fudge in an airtight container, whether you store on the counter or fridge.
As a note, the fridge will dry out your fudge quicker, so try to eat it faster.
Can You Freeze Fudge Made with Condensed Milk
Yes! Just wrap the fudge up in aluminum foil, and then place in a freezer bag or airtight container. Then you can freeze any fudge you won’t be eating right away. Thaw and serve.

In a separate glass bowl, heat the peanut butter chips, peanut butter, and 8 oz condensed milk in the microwave for about 60 seconds, stirring after 30 seconds until melted and smooth. If too thick, stir in remaining 2 oz condensed milk until smooth.
